The Year 4 children have been studying picture books by Lauren Child.

They wrote different stories based on the adventures of a child falling into a story book,

using the idea in "Who's afraid of the big bad book?".

Then they made their stories into zig-zag books.

The children also made character cartoons in Lauren Child's artistic style.

They also made 3-D fairytale scenes inspired by Lauren's book "The Princess and the Pea",

which uses photographs of real 3-D cut-out scenes to illustrate the book.
